Happy weekend! Today we are focusing on WRITING for our back 2 buy-in deals! I am highlighting my three writing curriculum programs and the phonics-based writing centers. Up first, let’s take a look at the writing curriculum. KinderWriting is a k-focused program. It’s a “standard print” option for writing. FirstieWriting is great for both first grade and second grade as it’s rigor is meaty. The writing slides are super unique. Those can be for K or first grade students. Those are based on the science of writing and embed a healthy amount of phonics into the lessons. AKA if your students are in Unit 1 (alphabet and sounds) then our expectation is for students to “write” via illustrations and single sound labels!
