All Things Literacy Centers {freebie too!}

It was back to work for me today!  It was nice to be back…and have a couple of days to get back into the groove- kids come back Monday.  I was SO eager to show you how I recently organized my centers that I went to grab something off the printer at school a few days ago and….click!  I locked myself out of my room.  No phone, keys, camera, etc etc.  My husband came to pick me up and had another set of car keys but was without my phone for 2 days.  I did survive though as you can see…I lived to tell the story ..haha!

Anyway, back to the subject at matter: all things literacy centers!  I recently revamped my literacy centers storage.  No, unfortunately it is not a unique or “never seen before” idea.  However, so glad that I changed it up.  I previously stored all of my centers in a heavy duty sheet protector, then placed them in a magazine holder {box}.  It was okay but had to rummage through them and not easy to access them quickly.  I decided to take those already whole punched sheet protectors and place them in a large 3 inch binder…DUH!  See you were expecting a lot more huh?  Sorry to let you down, but I did include a freebie to make up for the let down 🙂

So far I have 2 binders….and counting!

In the freebie below I’ve also added side labels.

I used small post it stickies to separate each holiday/theme within the binder.  I also placed them order I will pull them out each month.

In each page protector I’ve included any needed pieces/game mats.

I also always keep the black line master there too!  This way I send it off to the copier!

Grab your freebie binder covers below.  I also added in Math in case you like to match like me!

If you are needing some additional literacy centers you can check out my seasonal literacy bundle!

Have a super duper weekend!

    Thank you for the adorable binder covers! Your organization makes my heart sing! 🙂 Getting locked out sounds awful…it's happened to me, but I've never been without my phone for that long. I don't know how you did it! When I don't have mine, it's like I am missing my left hand!

    Cute binder covers, thanks for sharing Tara! 🙂 One of my summer goals will be to organize everything into binders. I hate my hanging file folders!

    This is a great idea! I have already started organizing my centers this way now! I have them in bins (which I thought was so great) and it is a pain to dig through them. So excited to reorganize 🙂
