All Things March & a Giveaway!

Hi friends!  I hope you have had a great week and hopefully you are not like me and continuing to work on “school” all weekend!  You just laughed didn’t you!!!  Seems like even if we are not doing “school” we are still thinking about it which can be just as bad sometimes! LOL!  Anyway, Missouri just broke through some record of coldest days in a row and we were teased with a couple of warm days..ahhhh they were nice!  Also, the kids went to R.E.C.E.S.S for the first time since Thanksgiving? Christmas?  I really can’t remember!

I can’t believe March is already fast approaching us!  I’m sure it tried to sneak up on you too so I wanted to offer a March giveaway bundle!  It will get you MORE then enough to get your March ‘a kicking!

This lifesaver is part of the giveaway bundle! Teachers Taking Back Their Weekends: March Edition.

You can see from the preview that this packet is just as jammed packed as the February and January packets were.  You will get activities for writing, math, word work, content, and a simple print sub plan if you happen to get yourself into a pinch!
Click the preview below to view on TpT!  Also, beyond the giveaway this packet is on sale for $1 off through Monday, February 24th!

I spent a good deal of my after school time Friday switching out my centers to these super fun St. Patrick’s centers!  I kept my Valentine’s centers in a little longer because of the multiple snow days they barely got used 😛

The Sneaky vs Real Word Leprechauns

For this activity I purchased these two gift bags from the Dollar Tree…2 for $1. I hot glued the labels on to each bag.  Students will then sort the cards as real words or nonsense/sneaky words.

Swaying CVC Words

For this center students use the laminated Irish flag to write each sound in the CVC word. After students have written each word on the flag they will then record their answers on their sheet.

Shamrock Shake Up

In this center students sort the picture cards as a bl or pl blend.  All of the blends are placed in a brown paper sack. As they pull out a card and sort each  one they color in one shamrock next to that blend!  We have worked A LOT with blends to help with our phoneme segmentation 🙂

At The End of The Rainbow

Students work on onset and rime by matching the pairs.  They then record their answers on their recording sheet.

Pot of Gold Sight Words

In this activity students pull a sight word card and build it using the pieces of gold!  Students then record their answers on the corresponding recording sheet.

These centers sell for $5 click below if you are interested! They are also part of my March Bundle giveaway {See below}.
Also, in the giveaway bundle is my St. Patrick’s Day addition and subtraction problem pack!
Enter below for your chance to win this awesome March-ness bundle!  I will choose 2 bundle winners and the giveaway ends Sunday, February 23rd!
