Friendly Letter Writing {a freebie}

I wanted to stop in and share with you our writing for the week!  This week we are taking a little of time to teach writing letters!  We read Dear Mr. Blueberry, a super cute book for letter writing!  I really wanted the kiddos to understand the three main parts of a letter… so I created this fun and interactive writing template for them!
They colored their little girl or boy and then cut along the lines to form three flaps for the greeting, body, and closing!  They were then able to open each flap one at a time and write the parts of the letter!

I had already stapled the packets in the copier, but you could also have the kids glue the the pages together on the left hand side.  We talked to about only cutting on the dotted line…and luckily we only faced on causality! 😉

The kiddos chose a friend or family member to write to…

And VOILA!  Toooooo cute….

If you would like to snag this interactive letter writing activity, the parts of a letter poster, and additional writing templates click below for the freebie!  Enjoy!

    How little minds get to the interactive writing is quite necessary that it will force you to try for yourself that its not been so hard to try your letter writing ideas. bank letter writing

    Good to see those, such kind of the creative writing activities used to build out huge confidence to the students then they start looking forward to such more considerations which can nearly be performed later on as well. informal letter writing
