Taking Back Weekends [giveaway, too]
Hey there and happy Wednesday! I know a lot of you are back at it so I hope this email finds you in the best of spirits (or the best they can be ha!) One of the most beloved parts of the Preschool Taking Back Weekends is the return of our friend, Pip the Pup! Let’s chat poetry first! Each packet has two included poems! You get the larger poem and then poem retell cards! There are two themes covered in the poems so you can use them throughout the month as you see fit!
The bundle also includes SO MANY question of the day cards! There will be more than enough cards for you to pick through. You will be able to find the perfect question to match your theme or your students’ current interests!
One of my FAVORITE parts of the Preschool Taking Back Weekends Bundle is the optional writing center. I say “optional” because you don’t have to utilize the material in a writing center format. You can also use the material separate of a writing center if you don’t current have a spot for a full writing center. The bundle comes with 2 “write” banners, word cards, word posters, and recording sheets!
I mentioned our Pip the Pup! She provides the kiddos with two school supply readers in each packet! This month she teaches the kids about how to correctly play with dough and introduces them to a variety of fine motor tools! Each month there will be two new school supplies that Pip the Pup teaches the students! The students can also get “certified” in each school supply using the included certificates!
Pip the Pup also provides you with two thematic read alouds each month! For this packet, Pip introduces the students to John Chapman and the places found within their school! The books are also paired with an activity and craft/crown!
The Preschool Taking Back Weekends bundle also comes with 9 INSTANT Sub plans (1 per month). The INSTANT sub plans have a detailed lesson plan sheet and all of the needed material for circle time, read aloud, letter work, centers, and math! These lesson plans are perfect for your emergency sub tubs! For the September packet, the sub plans utilize the Brown Bear, Brown Bear book.
Each Preschool Taking Back Weekends packet comes with 5 literacy centers. However, there is a catch! The 5 centers are offered in 2 different themes so you’re actually getting 10 centers per packet.
