🧠 What is “Take Out the Trash Rhyming”?

In this activity, students hear a list of words and must identify the word that doesn’t rhyme — and “take out the trash!” For example:
fan, pan, cat → Students “take out” cat because it doesn’t rhyme.
fox, dig, box → “dig” is the odd one out.

It’s a fun way to build phonemic awareness and engage in interactive phonics skill practice.
