Color Code System:
• Green = beginning consonant or digraph
• Green + Green = double consonants/blends at the beginning (ex. frog)
• Yellow = vowel sound
• Red = final consonant or digraph
Example words: ship → /sh/ (green), /i/ (yellow), /p/ (red) • snap → /s/ (green), /n/ (green), /a/ (yellow), /p/ (red)
