What is Write the Room?
Teachers place alphabet or beginning sound cards around the classroom. Students use a clipboard and recording sheet to travel the room, searching for each card and writing the correct letter or sound on their sheet. This makes for a highly engaging center option that gets kids moving while staying focused on key skills.
