Literacy Center Update {freebie included}

Hey there friends!  I hope all is well with you…I’ve been up to a whole lot of nothing {literally HA!}  Will explain later… but I have been up to a few things I guess.  I am updating my dining room..now turned office!  I will share pictures of that once it’s all put together!  10 days until Christmas break in my neck of the woods…well actually 9.5 if we want to get technical 🙂  I can’t believe it’s already that time of the year…we all know after Christmas we are saying where did the year go it’s May!  Well, maybe haha! 🙂
Anyway, I wanted to share with you my current Winter/Christmas December centers.  There is a freebie included towards to bottom so be sure to grab it!


This center basket words on final sounds with this super cute Gingerbread activity.
My students will also play a little memory match and practice writing Christmas words.

These activities work on middle vowel sounds and then Christmas sentence writing.  Both activities come from Miss Kindergarten Love’s December games centers!


Beginning sound sort!  Students sort the cards to the /e/ elf  board or the /s/  Santa board.
They then record their answers be writing the beginning sound.  This is a freebie download that you can grab below!


More activities from Miss Kindergarten Love’s December games & centers packet.  Students work on short e words by sorting the presents to the correct tree and recording their answers.  The second activity students match the skates to the correct beginning sound and record their answers.

I also was real boring and picked out my own Christmas present…and yeah already opened it too!  Anyway,  I will no longer pain you with fuzzy cell phone pictures..as I have a new camera! 🙂
