Back to School Ideas! {all freebies}

It’s that time for me…back to work tomorrow!  Kindergarten open house Monday night and students return on Thursday!  I am excited, but always a little nervous 🙂
I wanted to share with you a couple of open house ideas.  They are by no means original ideas, but worth sharing!
The above snap shot is of my open house folders!  Each student has an open house folder packed with all kinds of information.
Each folder has a keep at home and return to school side.

The information I want returned the night of the open house is paper clipped and set to the side.  I ask parents to fill these paper out and return to me before leaving.  The first is a Kindergarten questionnaire for parents, transportation form, and health history.

This is a great idea my buddy teacher shared with me.  Each parent fills out a small emergency contact card.  I then place each card in a small steno notebook.  This way if I need to contact a parent, I can do it quickly without having to search around for phone numbers.

This is another idea from my buddy teacher also found on Pinterest!  Each student is getting an adorable little poem to read the night before school starts.  Each student also gets a small bag of confetti.  The poem explains the confetti and the reasoning.  I purchased the small baggies at Walmart and the confetti at Dollar Tree!

Another adorable idea that my buddy teacher uses.  Each student receives a small tub of playdoh with an adorable poem attached to it. I purchased the playdoh at Walmart…24 for $14!  Click HERE to download the labels for free.

Hope you enjoy the feebies!  My Back to School sale will continue through Wednesday, August 21st.  Click the banner below to head over there 🙂
